Looking for a Q-Tron Micro or something similar. Can trade stuff or cash.

Thanks

Just fyi I've got one of these. It's dirt cheap and it's pretty good. (I'm not offering mine -- just showing you this).
Like all envelope filters that I've used, it can be difficult to dial in the sensitivity. It is easily overpowered by a steel pickup and the sweet spot takes some work to find.

I read about the Donner Dynamic Wah here on the Forum last year and picked one up. It's inexpensive, well built and sounds good.

I'll wager that those two are identical. I see that on a lot of the Asian imports. Common layouts, changed graphics, most likely the same guts, rebranded.
If I were buying, I'd buy whichever was cheaper on a given day (or whichever model a favorite dealer was carrying).

Of course I could be wrong. In which case my lawyer wants me to say that all wagers I make are null and void on the Steel Guitar Forum.

Jon, I suspect that you are right. Your description of the one you have pretty much describes the one I mentioned. The one I have is basically a one trick pony but it does a good job on the auto wah sound when you get it dialed in. Good luck Lee, I suspect you'll be happy with whatever you wind up buying.

I went through a bunch of these...ended up with the Analogman version...not the cheapest, but they really mostly don't work so well...they either work only on a small part of the fretboard, or don't trigger well without a really percussive input....the analogman is quite adjustable and flexible...just sayin', sometimes ya' just gotta' bite the bullet...
