Is it possible to get parts for a newer Excel steel. Bell cranks, knee levers, pull rods, etc? Maybe they are standard enough that more common parts (i.e. GFI) would fit?

Dont know if part from other manufacturers would work. Reach out to Steve Sanford who is the distributor for Excel in the US. He has helped me a couple of times and got what I needed.

I have recently bought parts directly from Excel including legs, bell cranks, whole knee lever kits. Mitsuo usually responds to my email requests within 3 days for quotes and promptly ships out parts which usually take 2 weeks to arrive.

I have access to local toolmakers and they have been able to make one of copies of Excel parts that I need.

I also have gotten parts from Mitsuo, once I traded him Alaskan smoked salmon for them! Very Happy
