It’s not REALLY a Sho~Bud but nice looking, incorporating Bud parts. Very quiet
Alumitone pickups. Light weight but has good sustain. A little cosmetic damage on one side, probably from leaning on a cement floor. The legs work fine but there is a bit of corrosion present. I put in a “stutter/doo-wah” button.
No case but there is gig bag and I will use plenty of bubble wrap. Price includes shipping thru US Postal Service. If you are looking for an economical way to get into extended tunings this is perfect for you.
I prefer PayPal or Venmo for payment but will discuss options.

If this isn't sold, I'll take it! Been looking for an affordable non-pedal console forever!
If anyone else has an affordable console S8 or 6, please let me know. I had a bad bike injury a couple years ago and can no longer hold a steel on my lap.

If I had a replacement, I would part with my S8. I intend to build a D10, but it won't be real soon - probably in the next year. Also thinking about pedal steel, but money is an object right now.
The S8 was a lap steel when I got it, and I made it a console. I'm no woodworker, but it is very functional. If I find something different, I'll let you know. |
