I just talked to Sue at Peterson and for the Newmann 442.5 tuning it's U12 for the open strings and P12 for the pedals on a 12 string universal. SE9 is the Newmann 442.5 tuning for the E9th 10 string.

I have the Peterson Tuner and didn't realize you had to use U12 for the open strings then switch to P12 for the pedals. I just used the U12 for both open strings and pedals. I learned something.

I didn't until I talked to Peterson. I would have thought it had everything in one tuning

I just found this chart for steel tuning on Petersons site. It is not updated with the U12 settings but it breaks down a lot of the tunings. You have to scroll down to find them. https://www.petersontuners.com/media/pdf/StroboPlus_Steel.pdf

How do you download the 'sweeteners'?

I have the Strobostomp version. I'm pretty sure the SU12 setting covers both open string notes and pedaled/levered notes.
Sure does sound in tune but I'll check again.

U12 for the open strings.
P12 is for the pedals and levers on a 12-string universal.

Hmmm, I tried tuning with P-12 for pedals and levers and it sounded not quite as good as leaving the tuner on U-12 for open strings and pedal/knee levers. Maybe I'm so use to using the U-12 setting that way my ears are use to it. I'll try it again to see if I can adjust.
