Hey Rob... I would gladly take you up on the offer but my Steels either have 10 or 6 strings.

PSA... Rob makes high quality guitar pickups (Cavalier) in Tele, Strat, Firebird, P-Bass, and Jazz Bass flavors that are extremely well regarded in standard guitar and bass guitar circles. I have his Cavalier Tele pickups in three Tele style guitars and wouldn't trade them for the world.

This is a great opportunity that is totally worthwhile for some 8 string steel players to do some pickup testing and work with a dedicated craftsman who is one of the best and most honest guys you will ever meet.
