'Tallon Custom Double 10' info anyone?

Good morning folks - I have seen this 'Tallon Custom Double 10' for sale here in the uK and can't seem to find any information about the maker what so ever - the seller thinks its a badge engineered USA brand but I am not so sure - anyone know of the Tallon brand of pedal steels and if so are they a good guitar?

Other than the fact that it uses the card suits for fret markers (on what looks like a custom-made fretboard) I don't see anything that looks like Shobud to me. Sure is cool-looking though, if it plays & sounds good then it might be a perfectly usable instrument - the thing to keep in mind is that you will be on your own for any parts or repairs. Might be heavy. And without any pictures of the underside we don't know much of anything about the mechanics. Off the top of my head I would say given all of that and the well-worn condition the price is maybe twice what it should be (although the fact that it is in the UK may affect that. . .) at least unless they have more info about the manufacture & previous ownership of it. I have seen some other very interesting stuff listed by this shop.

I found this FB post with that name tagged, although I can't tell if it is the same make of steel - maybe this guy would have some info on the brand though?

EDIT - actually I think he is playing a Shobud LDG, not sure what the #Talon tag refers to although he is in England so might be worth a query. . .
