Anyone know how Buddy gets the sound at about about 54 seconds on this video? Some kind of a rake into a single note? Buddy was amazing!

At about 47 seconds, That lick looks to me like a backwards rake with his index finger on strings 3 thru 6 followed by a quick upward thumb stroke on 7th string.....maybe (?)

With pedal 6, Buddy is doing a quick slide raking UP ^ strings 5, 4, 3, & 2

simultaneously palm muting strings 5,4, & 3 ... but letting string 2 ring.

it takes some practice, but very COOL.
