The announcement thread for the Texas show is here - https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=386385 - right where it's always been.

The Event Announcements section is to announce upcoming events. I changed the title of that section to "Upcoming Event Announcements" to reflect what was always the intent of that section. Discussions about past events belong in the section to which they belong - Steel Players, Pedal Steel, Steel Without Pedals, or if the discussion is about a singer, guitar/bass/drum/keyboard player - Music. Or, if there's video from a show, Steel On The Web.

Hope this clears that up.
