I know about my Emmons guitars but know nothing about Sho Buds. This guitar has been sitting in a music store for years. It was in a house fire and I was told it was damaged and couldn’t be repaired so it was just being displayed,as it came out of the fire. Well the display got old and they sold it to me for 600.00. There is no fire damage. There was a couple pieces of melted plastic that dripped on the helper springs and hardened locking the changer. I popped it off in less than a minute. Took me about an hour to wipe and clean it up. Anyway everything is working fine and the tone is awesome. It looks much better in person than the pictures.

So if my research is right this was originally a Crossover? Has metal frame all around. Seems to have a modern undercarriage. Seems whoever converted it did things right.

Opinions?

Thanks

Yes a Crossover frame but someone totally redid the undercarriage, then dropped in a 70s 2 raise/1 lower changer. Looks like a good job.

For $600 that's what you call a steal steel.

Thanks for the reply k maul. That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure. I do know it sounds great and all the changes work perfectly.
