This 1979 Gibson Custom has the Cherry Sunburst finish which was an extra cost or $100 when it was purchased. It was used mostly to play at weddings and banquets and had no hard rock playing on the strings or neck. Other than some wear on the gold plating on the bridge and pickup the guitar is in excellent condition. It comes with the original case which is in very good condition as shown in the photo. Time to let someone younger enjoy this beautiful playing and sounding guitar.
This guitar is in Excellent condition.

PM for more details.[/b]

Nice guitar but what do you mean by "had no hard rock playing on the strings or neck." Playing hard rock wears out the guitar more than playing it at a wedding or banquet?

It does if you're Pete Townshend Laughing

Very nice guitar, BTW

I played plenty of Rock and Roll in the 50's and 60's but I then used my 1958 Fender Strat... I Wish I still had it, but replaced it with a 2012 Fender reissue model. Of course I played some R&R at weddings, but none of this overdrive stuff...

You should post this on the mylespaul.com forum. One of the better LP oriented websites and will expand your potential buyer base considerably.
