Just a PSA , I see guys talking about these here quite a bit and here's one on eBay. I just bought another steel so I can't play, but somebody might want to snag this.

No bids on the Magatone yet, wonder why, notice the leg missing either the rubber foot or the inner rod? Also not a real good description? I'd be leery to bid. Maybe get the one year protection offered too.
But ebay and paypal have been good to me in the past when I bought something that showed up not as described. Never did that much money though. |

I'd be on it if I didn't just buy a few things, that leg end is an easy fix. 2 hrs left......
I'll just sit here playing my new '36 Stella horseshoe and watch. |

Here's the description from when it was sold on reverb: https://reverb.com/item/49061284-magnatone-double-8-string-console-steel-guitar-1950-s-g-85-dw
Not a lot of info, but it's something. And explains the leg.
I'd be interested if I hadn't just paid down some other debts in life. And if I hadn't been outsmarted by my last D8. For now, I'm sticking with less than 8 strings. And only one neck.
$600 seems like a steal on that steel. (Sorry. Couldn't resist.) |
