I am trying to date my Harlin Steel Guitar. I have been researching and cannot seem to find any info on when this model was made, is it a bit rare, etc. I am guessing late 1940's or early 1950's. It is Red Mother of Pearl, There are no caps at the ends and no mounting points for the caps. Also no 'wa wa' button. The case is a blue exterior and a red interior. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know a ton about these. I do know that they were built in Indianapolis, IN. I am sure someone there may know something. Try contacting Arthur's Music in Indy... They will likely have a lot of info on these.

Tim. If you can get the numbers off the potentiometer, post them and I should be able to tell what year the pots were made. RP

Assuming that I am looking at the right things, the numbers are HR10RV18. I can only make out the numbers on the Tone adjustment.
