Anyone tried one of these on steel yet?
It seems Strymon vastly improved with v2 over the old model.
I'd love to hear a demo of the new one on steel.

I am interested to hear reactions, too, John. I love my H & K Rotosphere . . . but would like to know about possible backups.

I've used quite a few rotary pedals and every one (even my favorite, Rotochoir) leaves me wishing for at least one feature that another one has. After looking this over, it seems possible that it has every single feature that I've wished for. Wet/dry mix....visible speed indicator.....both fast & slow adjustment.....adjustable ramp speed.....output for external controller.....

This is pretty hot.

I bought and tried a bunch of Leslie simulators to use with my Electro-Harmonix B9 Organ Machine.
I was always somewhat disappointed until I got the Strymon LEX.
I like it very much and have since ditched the B9 effect.
The LEX sounds great by itself as an organ effect. I also use an expression pedal to control rotor speed.

Yeah, me too Ken. I've had the Lex for years.
Can't imagine how much "better" the v2 would be!

I just ordered it.
It really does address a good number -- maybe all -- of my wishlist items that are missing in one way or another on the 4 or 5 rotary units I have or had.
The demos sound great.
