| Looks cool. I think Cole Clark guitars from Australia is some kinda offshoot from Maton, at least I remember hearing something like that. Cole Clark makes some fine Ricky like steels. |

Glenn, Cole Clark may well have worked for Maton, but Maton is still going strong, and still owned by the family. |

Glenn, Cole Clark may well have worked for Maton, but Maton is still going strong, and still owned by the family. |
I did a little digging and both founders of Cole Clark were Maton employees and left there in 2001, they also both left Cole Clark. I found a video of a Maton steel being played, it sounds good to me.

That's got a great sound, Glenn. I wish I could get hold of one.
I have a couple of Maton electric guitars, and they have the best necks I've ever played. |
