I have an Emmons D-12. It need a rebuild. I would like to learn how to do this job myself but I’m apprehensive on starting such a project without some guidance.

If it is still assembled, it might be close to how it came from the factory,so take pictures of the bottom side of the changer, etc.

That is not Just an Emmons Steel Guitar, That's an Emmons Push- Pull. Not everyone can work on them and set them up to play flawless.
