Would anyone happen to know who the Manufacturer was that made the Emmons amps for the Emmons guitar Company? This amp belong to John Hughey in 1971or 72. I became friends with him as a kid through my uncle who use to play regular with John just before he started with Conway. I purchased the amp from him around 1972. It needs some repairs but I think I will need a schematic to move forward with getting it repaired.
I believe the amp was manufactured in Concord California. Any help will be very much appreciated.[img]

Dale

Various amps were made by Emmons.

Can you post a photo?

Thanks!

I will post a photo as soon as I can get a photo. The amp is at a friend’s house at this time. I did consider Stansell but with them out of business I don’t know how to check it out.
Thanks for all your response.

Heya, Dale. Sorry so late to the game. Standel has been resurrected and are making tube amps as the founder, Bob Crooks had done originally. Danny Mckinney is super helpful & can get you sorted. He was very generous & helpful when I had issues w/ a 1970 Standel solid state amp I drug home. Get hold of Mr. Mkinney, his contact info is on the Standel site:

The original Emmons amp was made by Standel. I used to have a schematic. I'll look around and report back.

Picture posted looks like the Standel version Emmons amp. I saw a picture of the later BK Butler Emmons amp and much different.

Thanks for the help in determining who made this amp. Hopefully the schematic you sent will help get this amp repaired.
