Thanks but I am looking for a single neck only. I do not own a chainsaw!

There's no such thing as a single neck Stringmaster. |

Fender Deluxe 8 with the Stringmaster pickups?
The early version had no legs, hence a "lap steel", but not the Stringmaster pickup configuration.
The 8 string with the Stringmaster pickups had legs. So even though technically it is not a "lap steel" you could still play it on your lap. So can you still call it a "Lap Steel"?

Bobby,
I care to differ with you' but I have a single neck Stringmaster. It didn't start out that way but it is now!
I bought some Stringmaster parts some time ago and the seller casually mentioned that he had the body if I wanted that. It was 1/2 of a double neck Stringmaster. I added a 3rd leg to it, refinished it in blonde and it is now sitting in my music loft.
It is the long, 26" scale. It is complete except for wiring in the pickups.
