Just curious how many out there have cut down the inner legs of your steel to save weight? If so, how many pounds have you saved.

A few ounces only. Aluminum legs are a more effective way to cut weight, I have them on both of my guitars.

I carry the legs and pedal rack in a cloth gun case.

I have aluminum legs on both my Emmons LL. Presently added a S-10 to the herd, looking for ways to lighten it up. Are there any aluminum legs for sale. I remember Glenn Porter made them, but I think he stopped. May consider case options.
