I posted this several days ago in Events but it received a small amount of views, so I'm posting here to reach the non pedal community as this will be a master class in lap steel playing.....
Tomorrow at 7:30pm (EST) Steve will be the special guest in Mr. Jimmy's Big City Blues Jam at The Asheville Guitar Bar......the first set is 90 minutes and live streamed.....the second set is 60 minutes although it will not be streamed.....Steve played in the blues jam last May and brought 3 lap steels in 3 tunings....E, C6, and F#9 (?) or something like that.....
Also joining Mr. Jimmy's Blues Jam is 2 time Grammy Awards winner Jim Fielder on bass (Buffalo Springfield and Blood, Sweat, & Tears)......another special guest sitting in on several tunes will be Ben Balmer out of Austin, Tx.....Ben is a great vocalist and a fantastic harp player in the style of Butterfield/Sugar Blue......
