Finally gave in and purchased a Peterson Turbostomp HD.......After taking a day to see how it works and the various tuning set ups I would use I have to admit it is better than any clip on I have used or any othe chromatic tuners I have.

After getting use to how to program it I have it pluged into my volume pedal. My only problem is I am always stomping it on to check my tuning. (Can't leave it alone). The thing to get use to is which program for strings vs program for pedals....have to remember to shift when checking one or the other......

Thank you forumites for convincing me to get one, NOW what gizmo is out there for playing improvement?

Sam

I use Jack Stoners settings that you can download from the Peterson site and it tunes pedals and knees and open strings in one preset so there is no flipping back and forth. The added benefit is my steel sounds very in tune.

Has anyone been able to do this for U12? It messes with my head to see the pedals/levers out of tune when viewing in open string mode.

My strobo-stomp came with U12 setting/offsets. It does a great and quick job.
