| When I turn it it on the needle goes all the way to 50 cent plus and stays there.I have this tuner since the 80s can some one fix this tuner. |

If you had it this long, this is probably an obvious question, but the battery check button isn't stuck in is it?
FWIW, I have one of these that sort of works with a power supply if you need parts, I could probably make you a deal. |

I have one that still works.... All I have ever done is clean the switches a couple of times with contact cleaner and re-soldered the battery clip. Take care using contact cleaner as some of it loves to eat the plastic parts.
