There is a cut on this album The Great Bells of Rhymney, there is a short instrumental section with some really lovely steel guitar harmonics at the beginning of the break. I just finished Hillmans bio and he said JD did some overdubs. Any opinions appretiated |

The credits show no steel on Bells of Rhymney, but JD on steel for the song Bidin’ my Time. But I do think I hear what you’re talking about.... _________________ MCI Arlington S-10 3+5, George L E-66, BJS & Emmons bars, Fender Stage Lead II 100W 1x12, Fender Satellite SFX, custom FX rack, 1983 Dobro 60D, SX-8 lap steel, Martin D16GT, Ibanez AS73, 1978 Rickenbacker 4000 custom. |

I've got no opinion, from listening to that, but (as you probably know), Jay Dee is all over Chris Hillman's career.....Byrds, Desert Rose, Herb Pedersen...... |

In Hillmans bio he states that JD played overdubs on Biding My Time the album. And on many of the songs you can hear it on the great bells of rhymney there is a tiny section at the beginning instrumental with harmonics my question was is that JD or is it not a steel guitar at all... |
