It’s very apparent that all of the musicians appreciate what Mike brings to the party.

That was a nice break. Just curious what bar Mike uses. I noticed it was hanging over the 10th string a bit.

Hey Paul,

That bar is longer than normal. Paul Franklin had recommended using a bar of that length as it is easier to control and more comfortable. Not exactly sure what the length is but I think it has been discussed here. Or you could reach out to Paul directly.

Hope this helps

Regards

A lot of 10 string players have started using 12 string bars. Mike's looks unusually long.

Interesting. I would like to test drive the 12 string bar.

Mike is letting us know he could play that solo note for note if he chose to. He is putting his own signature on it while maintaining the flavor of the original. Very classy!

I agree Clyde. Mike was just Doing his thing. Dan played the original that has stopped me in my tracks wherever it was playing. Beautiful classic solo.

One of the greatest songs. I am always locked into playing the standard solo; it's good to hear Mike do something different. And it was good to see Roy Clark.
