I think that's what it's called but I don't know.
Located between the RKR and the RKL cross-shafts, it's a rigid immobile cross-shaft- mine has six bell-cranks spread between both necks and a pullrod attaching somewhere obscure at the bottom of the changer.
Can anyone tell me its purpose? I gave been checking my spare rods today in anticipation of making some changes and I found two extra rods that can only have fitted this particular cross-shaft.
Why do I have two as spares? Were they once on there?
Most of all, I'd like to understand the reason for it's presence.
It's the second shaft from the top of my photo. The KL you see is my RKL.

Does that mean that each of those compensators (I count six attached to my Stop-bar) are taking up a space in my changer? I don't see them. |

Yes, IMO. That's why I like three and three changers.
