I just received a 40% increase on a gallon of adhesive, and a 100% increase on hardware. Something is very wrong. |

Yeah, lots of stuff has gone crazy the last year or two. Supply stymied + demand up => prices up a lot.
I honestly do not think these kinds of prices are sustainable long-term. High prices give incentives to over-produce. At a certain point, out-of-balance prices start to cut into demand and you have over-supply unless producers have the wisdom of Solomon and are able to control production very tightly. At some point, supply/demand/price curves are a reality that will raise their heads.
Just as an example, after seeing heavy price increases on lumber the last few years, coupled with strong efforts to meet that supply to capitalize on the heavy demand at inflated prices, lumber futures have recently dropped as the housing market appears to be making an adjustment back to normalcy - https://www.wsj.com/articles/lumber-prices-fall-back-to-around-their-pre-covid-levels-11664239652 |

Yep ,some of the financial so-called geniuses such as Cathy Woods, seem to be more concerned with a deflationary period in the near future. After pent up demand is met from COVID delays. Corporations are reporting record profits currently, I suppose it is their right to make it while they can. I’ve been wrong before. _________________ Shobud Pro1,BMI U12, Santa Cruz F, PRS Standard, Fender Twin Reverb, ‘53 000-28 |

I don’t think supply and demand has anything to do with it, nothing but pure greed is what it is with the big companies. _________________ Henry Matthews

big pharma , Gates and his pals made billions in profit with covid vaccines and other covid related bs, now it’s turn on the military industrial complex and big oil to get their pockets full , it’s all Putin’s fault of course , 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan and billions spent for Raytheon, Boing, Halliburton etc .. was Osama’s fault … if you believe in all that bs , I have very nice ocean front property in Arizona to sell you … _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |
