Are there any other tuners besides Peterson that are programmable? |

Kevin, are you just looking for something a little less expensive? Peterson also makes a clip-on tuner called StroboClip HD. I got one a while back and it's super cool. They're $60 incl shipping. It's programmable the same as the more expensive models like the StroboStomp, it's small but very easy to read and works perfectly for psg, I clip it on the back apron below the key head. Highly recommended.

The StroboClip comes with a host of built in sweeteners, not including C6 or E9 pedal steel, and I don’t think it’s actually user programmable, is it?
I was a little disappointed when I figured that out. Cute, light, works great on Dobro. Would have been nice to have at least one sweetener for each pedal neck. |

Do you have one Ken? Don't be disappointed, it's definitely user programmable. It's exactly the same as the StroboPlus HD and StroboStomp HD, plug in a micro USB cable and use the Peterson Connect app on their website, add it to your account and you can load all your same presets. I have the same small handful of presets from my StroboStomp loaded into mine, including my own custom E9 sweetener, removed all the rest. _________________ All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest - Paul Simon |

I just looked at my StroboClip HD and lo and behold - there is a USB port on the bottom.
FYI: In order to connect to Petersons web site I had to use the Chrome browser. (Firefox is not supported)
But all the sweeteners are now available _________________ "To live outside the law you must be honest." (Bob Dylan) |

The original Strobo Clip (chrome body) is not programmable. The newer Strobo Clip HD is programmable. |

Have the HD, and yes, by gum, it is now programmed for stuff I need.
Certainly going to miss the oud setting, though. |
