 I bought this lap steel new. I put a brass shim under the nut to raise it 1/4". The strings are more level now. I also rewired the electronics with new CTS pots, orange drop capacitor, and a new single coil soap bar pickup. I replaced the knobs with the Gibson style knobs. It is a good sounding, nice playing little steel. I like to play eight strings or more so it's just sitting in the closet. I have a nice padded soft case for it. I'll sell it for
$150.00, including the case, including shipping in the lower 48.
