The last 4 months I have seen 4 families I have know lose one of their children. Two were in their 50'2 and two in their early 60's. Death is never easy for any family. Rusty Goodman penned this great song about going to heaven that is just an awesome song. If you have not heard the lyrics it is worth your time listening to this song. I hope one day to meet these dear friends again.

Thank you Gil. I agree, Rusty Goodman was one of the best ever song writers in gospel music. He could sing as well. Rusty definitely was a talented man.

I can use my imagination and picture what the result would be of Paul King playing in a band with Rusty Goodman. I just don't think you could beat a combination like that.

You are too kind Rick. John Hughey played om sone of their projects and man he sounded great as always. I always thought Rusty had a unique voice that was pleasing to the ear.

Thank you Larry and I will see you there in Baxter Springs on Friday. Thank you Joe. Rusty Goodman definitely has a great gift in song writing, in fact I have never heard a bad song yet. I sure miss The Happy Goodmans and Johnny Cook as well.
