Yeah Nathan was one of my first Students back in late 90's at my house in Round Rock, Tx. He's the only one that learned every lick/intro/solo on my Video I had back then. Starting off; we would be sitting across from each other; and I would show him a pickin pattern that took me 4 months of practice to play it and he would master it in 5 minutes. The most talented Pedal Steel student I've seen. So proud of what he has accomplished through the years and he just continues on.

Along with being a great player (nobody would argue that) he's also a great guy. We hung out a bit on a few shows that Gus Clark (a guy I've been working with a LOT) opened for Charlie. I'd already met Nathan a time or two around town, but getting an hour or two to 'talk shop' with another Emmons guy is about as good as it gets. Super nice guy...

@Ricky, you launched more than one 'career(?)' out of your Round Rock 'teaching facility', many thanks my friend!

Nathan's wrap in back, my bolt up front (Charlie's arsenal to the right Smile)

Yeah Bill; I certainly had many pedal steel and non-pedal steel students; but YOU and Nathan were certainly my Pride and Joy.....it was MY PLEASURE; I could help.
