A new to me Altec 15 inch 418/8 in a great cabinet, like new.

Nice addition!! What are you going to push it with? I'm a 15" fan myself. Would love to come across one of these!

Session 400 as an extension

Looks great. Be careful. The Session 400 was rated at not less than 4 ohm load. Adding an extension will lower the total load impedance.

Why they put an extension jack on the amp made no sense at all.


Adding 8 ohm to the existing 4 ohm would be a 2.66 ohm load

Thank you Ken, I really did not think of that. As luck would have it, I am using it alone to put in front of and aimed at me when jamming at home, because my picking partners say I am too loud, and where my Session sits, the guitar picker says I aim it at him. He is a wimp I think.
