Rickenbacker CW-10 console steel guitar, serial number C9201, c. 1963. Rare model, believed to be identical to the also seldom-sighted Rickenbacker Jerry Byrd 10-string console. Magnets regaussed in 2009 by Bobbe Seymour of Steel Guitar Nashville. Sounds fine--it sings like only a horseshoe pickup can. Original case and legs--including original leg tips--in beautiful condition, particularly the mirror-like chrome on the legs. Gloriously preserved maple body to delight your eyes and ears. Looks to have been kept under a bed. Includes the often-missing keyhead cover. Dual tone controls, single volume control. The essence of early-60s high style. $1850.
