I would like to find out how many Fender Quads were made. Also what was the percentage compared to D-8s and T-8s etc.
Is there a list somewhere?

I don't think anyone really has an accurate record. Fender started using serial numbers to record warranty repairs. If anyone has these records they have not yet shown them.
Some people have been able to decipher some timelines of some models from tracking serials but I have never seen anything "official." Good luck maybe something will surface.

| So many Fender guitar stats have been made public that I doubt there's anything left in their archives to reveal. Like early Tele serials, the steel serials were apparently assigned semi-randomly. |

The quads were made from 1953 to 1968 IIRC. From what I gathered the Quads in the last 3 or 4 years were made to order.
I doubt that anyone kept track of the model quantities officially for Fender in the 50's & 60's. CBS probably tracked model quantities but those records are long gone.
My *guess* is that Fender/CBS had a number of the 4th necks in stock when CBS bought Fender and when they ran out of the thick necks CBS stopped making the Quads (1968). The Quads were not a big seller in the mid 60's onward - if you wanted one they were easy to get used.
D8 were the better sellers.
