With George L's cables and a Franklin with Lawrence 705 pickups, 96 model Nashville 400 with Peavey factory installed tone mod:

Pre Gain 4
Post Gain 6
Low: +9
Mid: -3
Shift: 800Hz
High and Presence: 0 to +1 depending on how new the strings are.

Reverb 0 as I used external reverb.

Are Nashville 400's still in production? I took a look at the Peavey site and only saw the 112.

Long gone from production. Still a great amp. The 112 is the only dedicated steel amp from peavey. It's also a well respected and widely used amp. Last few steel shows I attended it was the most used by various players.

I have around 5 of them I am installing in the Tommy Huff light cabinets and I will be putting up for sale. I’m planning on putting Eminence speakers in some and the old 1501 Black Widows in some. Be on the lookout because I’m putting 2 of them together tomorrow and will be for sale after that. I have a split cab I built for myself and have the ol 1501 in it and it sounds awesome!!

II remember when the 112 first came out, I had some serious reservations about the sound. Two things convinced me otherwise.
1) Joe Wright
2) My Nashville going in for repairs.
Joe played through one and I blown away by the sound that amp put out.
And I borrowed one to use on a gig while my 400 was in the shop for repairs.
I bought a used on and I enjoy every minute I have with it.
