Thanks Jim Bob. I saw them on Bobbe's website, and I may wind up getting it from him... I thought I would put this out there to save a few bucks if possible.
By the way, it is for a '99 Carter D10. |

Just got to your local hardware store or Lowes, they have those little drawers full of things that you can screw your pedal rod into, then get a some small [usually black] machine screws that you use the allen wrench with, they have no head, screw one into one end, your rod on the other, get a hand full of nuts to fit, & you can raise your steel up. Of course you'll need a piece of dow pin to cut & put in the front legs to hold them up. You can can do this with just a couple of bucks & save your $$$ for new strings!! If you can't find any let me know.

I have a set of extenders I got when I bought my D-10 Emmons a few years ago. I will sell them cheap if I can locate them. I am on the road until next weekend. If I can find them when I get home, I'll email you. Do you know if Emmons extenders will fit your guitar? [This message was edited by Roger Pearson on 21 August 2006 at 06:14 AM.] |

Thanks guys. Ernie, I will take a look at lowes next time I'm by there, but I'm still curious where to get the spacers for the front legs (or if I really need them).
Roger, It looks like the thread is about 3/16 of an inch (not sure if I measured it correctly though). I would be interested in your lift kit if you can find it.
Thanks! |

Randy: ; just get a piece of dowl pin [wood]
that will fit inside the front leg make them about 1" long, slide em in the front leg, that will take care of the spacers.
