This album just came out that I produced and arranged. It's an instrumental version of the first Shaggs album.
Super fun project !

Wow, you really made the Shaggs sound good. Amazing how something so bad could inspire so many people. Good job. |

I gotta say after spending some time with there music I developed a respect for the Shaggs. There is some real craft going on and after all is said and done the music is deeply evocative. I was careful to leave out all cheap shot irony while arranging the instrumental stuff. _________________ Bob |

Their drummer was on a planet of her own. Be hard to mimic those crazy rhythms. |

I've been a fan of this for decades-thought I was the only one. I really enjoy torturing my kids to it.
These are great renditions and love the trombone playing. |

Wow….Bob! The Shaggs occupy their own category in the musical world. That’s a nice feather in your cap. Remember…you and I met in NYC a couple times in the 80s? _________________ KEVIN MAUL: Airline, Beard, Clinesmith, Danelectro, Evans, Fender, GFI, Gibson, Hilton, Ibanez, Justice, K+K, Live Strings, MOYO, National, Oahu, Peterson, Quilter, Rickenbacher, Sho~Bud, Supro, TC, Ultimate, VHT, Williams, X-otic, Yamaha, ZKing. |
