Sweet looking guitar!

Question: Is the pick-up a genuine, magnetized horseshoe pickup, as found on the Ricks?

Any idea what kind of wood the body's made of?

Thanks and best of luck with the sale!

I am not sure. The wood is some Australian wood supposed to be excellent and the literature I have read these are true excellent sounding horse shoe pickups.
Thanks

I have been educated about the pickup in this lap steel by a esteemed comember of this forum that its a single coil pickup with cosmetically similar designed structure to horse shoe but its not a true horse shoe pickup.
Thanks
