I've had a very cheap resonator guitar with square neck set up in C6 tuning for about a year and a half now. I don't play it that often, but I got an offer to do an acoustic show on Cape Cod. I usually play pedal steel in the band. It was very hard and I did ok, but struggled. But boy did I learn a lot. It's nice to know that I might be able to work on my skills and be able to play acoustic once in awhile.

That's encouraging. I have that same model resonator. I can play it a little, and have taken it to the Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival several times. Owing to the quality of the resonator players that attend, haven't taken it out very much. Maybe this year!
