I keep my D10 and SD10 guitars ser up and use the same amp and signal chain. Unplugging and plugging to switch was a hassle. I got an A B switch from Amazon for $22.00 and it works well. A picking buddy suggested it and I cannot believe I did not think of it myself. It even has lights.

I guess you can tell it doesn't take much to excite me.

Bill, I made that same discovery years ago. Lots of gadgets out there we never considered.

I like to use a relatively inexpensive Morley A-B-Y pedal to connect a pair of lap steels to a Sho-Bud VP:
