This has been my main gigging guitar for the passed 7 years and I have decided to finally pass it on as I'm mainly playing my stringmaster now. I originally purchased this guitar online from a store in Iowa and I have had it here in Dallas Ever since. The guitar is in good condition but is not perfect. All the pots and pickups are original but the plastic switch tips have been replaced. Also the rubber leg caps have also been replaced. The tone sweep button is a little scratchy sometimes (contact cleaner would prolly make short work of it). The case is starting separate a little bit and has a replaced handle, It is still intact and fully functional tho. The Gibson logo has a crack on the N but it is very hard to see. All 4 legs are original and sturdy. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. This is a truly great guitar and I hope it goes to the right home! I am asking $1500 shipped to lower 48 USA

This is the first one I've seen offered for sale on the forum since I bought mine in 2013. Great sounding, beefy guitar with bandstand appeal for days ... I wasn't aware these ever came with adjustable legs but in either case that's a value add. The original legs on mine were chopped down so short I couldn't fit underneath. Great guitar -- I'll probably never part with mine. Good luck with your sale! _________________ 2 cheap dobros, several weird old lap steels, and one lifelong ticket to ride on the pedal steel struggle bus. |

Isn't that model a Consolette instead of a Console Grand? It's a beautiful steel! |

I'm a bit late to the party here but surly that's a '59 not a '56. |
