Absolutely gorgeous custom TranjoCaster solid-body electric banjo in pristine condition, made by Sam Farris in Franklin, TN, my home town.

There are 2 pickups -- neck and bridge - and a blend pot to combine the two signals. Alternate pickups, control options... The TranjoCaster plays like exactly like a banjo (great travel instrument, or practice instrument (you won't wake anyone up playing this sans amp in the middle of the night!) . The blend control gives a wide variety of tone combinations, from mellow jazz guitar to twangy country electric. Breaks down easily for travel (no string removal required!).

Brand new w/ gold hardware and shipping, this would cost $1075 + tax--and there is 8-10 week wait for delivery.

Sound clips/videos can be found here: tranjo.com/tranjocaster.php
