a few years back I bought a little rubber wedge with a metal handle on it , it made string changing on my P/P a snap, held the string in place at the changer end.......I've lost it and dont remember who sold them..anyone know where to get them???Thanks Bob |

I bought a couple of those from a booth at the ISGC years ago.
As someone mentioned a piano mute works, and probably what the wedges I bought are.
I need some kind of string ball end holder for my GFI. My "holder" now when I change strings is my wife. |

The description sounds like a piano tuner's wedge mute, which is what I've used on my push-pulls for years. I remove the wire handle. |
