I am in the midst of several conversations with Hartley Peavey about problems getting service or return phone calls.
Even though Hartley is retired he still wants to be sure we are taken care of.

He asked that I compose a list of problems that people are encountering when trying to reach the repair center or parts department.

Mind you that this is NOT a bash Peavey thread.
Hartley genuinely cares about the people that have supported him over the years.

I don't want specifics of problems with your amp, only problems getting repairs.

If it was during the Covid shutdown, those don't count.

I would prefer that you send your comments to my email. bferguson1947@gmail.com

I am trying to help you any way I can and believe this is a good first step.

Once again NO BASHING ALLOWED.

Thanks in advance for helping me help Peavey.
We all know how good Peavey has been to us in the steel guitar community for over 50 years.

Bill

Could you ask Hartley if they could start making the Neo magnets again for these amplifiers cause I’ve got a room full of PV amps and the speakers are so heavy!
Thanks

Graham,
Thanks for your comment. However, this thread is not about product, it is about customer service.

But to answer your question, Hartley is not involved in production any longer. The last I heard was that the NEO was simply too expensive to build for resell by itself.
And since they don't make a steel amp with a 15" speaker any longer, I doubt that they would make a new magnet just for the old speakers. I don't think, due to the price and the tonal change, that they would sell very many.
