He just posted "Pacific Steel Company". Whoever he is, I'm digging his posts (no pun intended).

With a song written by Red Rhodes.
Sorry Bob, I'm only trying to be funny. Smile

I find this little program handy in such circumstances:

You can choose what format to download the video, or just the soundtrack as an MP3.

I still see them on youtube, and he continues to add new albums. I have particularly enjoyed the old Red Rhodes instrumental albums. Also, the "Corn Pickin' And Slick Slidin'" with Ralph Mooney and James Burton is a great guitar/steel duo album.

Being relatively new to pedal steel, it is hard to find instrumental albums. Amazon will not let me download here in the Philippines, so that is a closed source. So these old classics are a nice find!

Yes, they're back, with more being added! I'm told the Billy Mize "Time And Place"album is also with Buddy Emmons.

wow.. a zombie thread for sure...

Does anyone have a link to Pacific Steel Company album on YouTube or does anyone have it digitized they could send me?

My student just brought in a digitized version off of a cassette... but it sounds TERRIBLE really....

But seems like I can find some of the tunes on YouTube to grab but not all... and the link below is dead. Smile

I have two copies on vinyl. If you have a turntable I 'll drop one off on the way home from work. My digitizing system is not super high quality...
