Hello Forumites:
I'm having a late 1930s Vega Vitar pickup rewound very soon, and I'm wondering if any of you have either owned or own a similar lap steel, or perhaps another 6-string Vega-made steel from approximately the same time period and could let me know the DC resistance of the single-coil pickup?
This is the rectangular pickup bobbin with six non-adjustable pole pieces.
Would help considerably, I understand that many of these same units were used on several different models and wound to approximately the same number of turns, etc.
Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!
