HI,
I’m Bob the Breadman, a worship leader for Traditions at Timberline Church in Fort Collins. We’ve been trying to develop an alternative sound for traditional worship (hymns and gospels choruses) since October and would like to find out if you know of anyone who might be interested in adding a little steel guitar to our ensemble once a month on the third Sunday of the month. The commitment would be for a one hour rehearsal on that Sunday at 8:00 am and the one hour service at 10:00 am. We use up-tempo songs as well as slow worshipful songs, so it would need to be someone who is interested in using their talent to glorify God, can be patient with us learning how to utilize the unique sound that a steel guitar brings, and not be offended if we needed to have them lay out on certain songs that may not lend themselves to steel guitar. All our musicians are volunteers, but committed to playing and singing skillfully. Please realize that since COVID our funds are quite limited, so I cannot offer any more than our sincere thanks at this time for their service, but we have quality guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, violin and keyboard players that are already a part of this group and would welcome the opportunity to include this new sound to the ensemble.
Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
Blessings,
Bob Lindschmidt
