Got this Maverick with no pedals or undercarriage. I have leftover SuperPro knee levers and plan to put 3 on. Probably using a modified Helms E6 tuning with chromatic strings on the top 2. No pedals. I will rout out space for a second Fender style pickup that I got from Sentell pickups.
I needed help from a hair dryer to peel off the vinyl covering. There was nice wood under there. Got it stained and clear coated. Reassembly is in progress.

Deciding between these two setups. One is all raise so no fooling with counter springs. I, for one, do like the high G# sound. I’m using this for old style Honky Tonk material.

I have a neck, a Gumby headstock and an old Miller pull-release changer I may try to fit on this body. That’ll be a further mod this summer because the parts are up in NY and I’m in Florida. For now I’ll go with the original ashtray tuner and pot metal changer. More pictures after I install knee levers.
