This amp started its life as a fender super 6, but was modded by Red Rhodes in his shop in Hollywood. He used it, and then it eventually made its way through the ranks of some other famous guitarists and steel guitarists. It was also used on the Austin City limits TV show by Chris Miller when he was playing with Wayne Hancock. When I bought the amp, it came with the Red Rhodes Steel Guitar album which he apparently used it on and I am including with the sale. Red tweaked it, so the bright switches now are more versatile, and he changed some of the electronics out to get the sound he wanted. He also put a 15-in speaker in it. The original one he put in wasn't powerful enough for the amp, so it has been replaced by an Eminence 15, which sounds almost exactly the same, and can handle the 100 watts of the amp. It is amazing sounding for a regular guitar or a steel guitar, and is gig-able, although it hasn't been serviced in a while, and could probably use to have someone go through it to make sure everything is top-notch. This is one of my favorite amps, but I've gone all in on another one, and want this to go to someone who could use it. Because of how heavy it is and how expensive it is to ship right now, I'm really looking to just do an in-person cash sale in Central Texas, but will be happy to send my donation to the forum if you saw it on here. I'm in Austin, but I'm in the San Antonio area a lot, and could bring it with me. Asking $1450.
