I just have to share pics of this guitar- it is even prettier in person than the pics show. I acquired this at the Dallas show from Mitchell Smithey(MSA). On the Saturday nite at the Dallas show John Macy and I sat drooling over this remarkable showpiece- looking like it just came from the factory- everything working as it should- perfect cabinet and mechanics with split cases. The buttons that are seen on the top switch what the pedals do as well as the pickups from neck to neck. The changers appear to be very similar to the Multikord/Electraharp changer which is a breeze to change tunings with. The chrome is perfect! I've currently not been able to find out much about it and am anxious to learn more if anyone has any information. It is just for display- not for sale at this point.

So cool, Jim.
I'd love to see pics of the crossover mechanism.

Jim, I'm glad this guitar went to someone who appreciates it. I wish it was still with me but it just stayed in case all the time.
It is a looker! |

No kiddin' Mitchell. Per the serial# it's a 1964 but called Rickenbacker and they have no resources for this so contacted Richard Smith and left a message. Looking forward to having a bi of time in the future to go thru it. |
