Can anyone recommend someone in Colorado or northern New Mexico that can add some left knee levers to my Pro-1? It's a '76 and has the two hole pulls.

I'm assuming I can get parts from psg, so I need to reach out. But I don't have the confidence to put the stuff where it needs to be.

Any suggestions for someone to install this stuff?

Thanks!!

I have a '73 Pro II with 3 factory left levers, and a '74 single neck with 3 that was a custom build by James Morehead. I could send you pics for reference. Contact PSG Parts for all your goodies.

If you're into shipping your steel, there's a guy in Seattle who just opened a pedal steel repair shop. Now, he hasn't worked on any my steels (yet) but in our conversations he appears to be very informed and a very nice guy. Obviously, finding someone in Denver would be preferable to shipping your steel but now you have at least one guy to consider. Keep at it; you'll find the right guy. Good luck.

Thanks Bob! I’ll reach out to get his contact info if you have it!

Kenny - I would gladly take those pics! If I can’t find someone to do it, maybe I’ll give it a try. I deal with woodworking and assembling stuff fairly regularly, so maybe it’s something I can do.

Thanks fellas!

Patrick Timmins has recently opened a steel guitar repair shop in West Seattle. You can reach him here:

I've used Patrick Timmins a few times. He's good, and has a machine shop at his home. He fabricated some parts for my Carter, and I bought a new Mullen there. He has some restored Emmons, Deckley, BMI, Fender, Sierra, and a couple others that he has worked on. Anyway, I would recommend him based on my experience

Brian seems to be right; it looks as though there isn't anyone in Colorado doing heavy PSG maintenance/add-ons.

Too bad. I have a couple of ideas that are a good distance above my skill set. Crying or Very sad
