Hi. New here and new to pedal steel. I’m a lap player looking to get into pedal. I’m thinking GFI, or Stage One etc 10 string, 3 pedal models. Used, but newer guitars. I’m in Northern California.
Thanks,
Neil |

I’ll check those Justice models out. I’m hoping to spend a little less for a 3 pedal 4 lever. So maybe something slightly used. But those do look great. |

Where are you in NorCal? There's a really good deal on a D10 in Folsom here: https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=380870 _________________ All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest - Paul Simon |

Thanks. I’m in Marin county outside of San Francisco. Folsom is doable. I’ve read warnings to stay away from 70s models and Fenders, but this is made by Sho Bud for them, right? Those are well made I’m guessing. Looks great. |

Yes, it's the same undercarriage as a Super Pro or later model Pro II/III. The changer design is slightly different on the Fender with a knife-edge pivot instead of an axle, but operates basically the same. I think it would be a great guitar as a starter. _________________ All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest - Paul Simon |
